Disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer before using backgroundshame.garden. This page is a general template and is not legal advice.

We Are a Referral Service

Backgroundshame Mold Help is a referral and marketing service. We connect homeowners with independent mold inspection, testing and remediation providers. We do not inspect homes, take samples, remove mold or carry out repairs. Any work in your home is done by an independent provider, not by Backgroundshame Mold Help.

Not Medical Advice

Nothing on this website is medical or health advice, and we do not make claims about how mold may affect anyone's health. If you or someone in your home has health concerns, talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional.

No Endorsement

Connecting you with a provider is not an endorsement of that provider. We make no promise about the quality, timing, cost, test results or outcome of any provider's work, or that a provider will be available in your area at a given time. Providers are responsible for their own licenses, insurance, training and conduct.

General Information Only

The content on this website is general information. It is not professional, legal, insurance or financial advice. Every home and every mold problem is different. Speak with a qualified provider about your specific situation.

Cost Information

Any cost figures on this website are typical U.S. ranges. They are not quotes, and they vary by job, location, materials and the extent of the problem. Ask the provider for a written estimate before any work begins.

Insurance Information

Statements about insurance on this website are general. We cannot tell you whether your policy covers mold. Coverage depends on your policy and your insurer's decision. Contact your insurer or agent with questions about your coverage.

Safety

Mold work can involve disturbed spores, damaged materials and hidden water or electrical hazards. Do not put yourself at risk. If you believe there is a danger to life or safety, contact local emergency services first.

Compensation

Backgroundshame Mold Help may be paid by providers or marketing partners when we connect them with homeowners. See our Referral Marketing Disclosure for details.

Accuracy

We try to keep the information on this website accurate and up to date, but we make no warranty that it is complete or without errors.
